Overview:
MaGnum it is a contact herbicide with some systemic action. The transport occurs only between the leaves, predominantly from the lower to the upper ones. Its action is to neutralize the glutamine synthesis, accumulating ammonia, and it inhibits the photosynthesis.
Application method:
Land application: jet directly direct on weeds. By being a contact product, is important a uniform coverage of the weeds’ leaves by the spray liquid. Air application: for desiccation in soybean, bean and feijao crops. In vegetables: cultivation in cup, cover the seedlings to protect them from the herbicide’s action.
Phytotoxicity and compatibility:
Is recommended to always run prior tests of physical compatibility. The application must be directed to the weeds since it is slightly phytotoxic.
Re-entry time to the area of treatment:
1 day. If the re-entry is necessary before term, do it by employing personal protective equipment.
Restrictions of use:
In directed applications it should be avoided that the spray reaches the trunk and/or the leaves of the fruit trees, since otherwise they could be affected by the herbicide.
Toxicological class:
Class IV – Green Stripe.
Antidote:
In case of intoxication: Phenobarbital-sodium 1 mg / kg i.m or subcutaneous up to a maximum of 5 mg/kg/day. Diazepam 10 mg / kg i.v to prevent and control the spasm and seizures. Forced diuresis and hemodialysis is quite effective.
