Overview:
POINT is an insecticide that regulates growth, it directly interferes with the synthesis of chitin, it is specific for lepidopteran and coleopteran larvae, inhibits the regular growth of the larvae causing their death. It acts on small and large larvae but is recommended to apply it in presence of small larvae with up to 15% defoliation to avoid significant damage. POINT is very specific about the plagues it controls, therefore it does not act on beneficial insects, which is why it is highly recommended for “Integrated Management of Plagues “.
Application method:
It can be applied with air, land, and backpack equipment. To carry out the application clean water must be used, fill half the tank with water, keep the equipment’s stirring system functioning, then add the product and complete the tank’s volume with the necessary amount of water, is important that the equipment’s stirring system works at all times. Do not apply at high temperatures and relatively low humidity. Is recommended to use the product within 24 hours after preparation, since its effectiveness can decrease after that period.
Phytotoxicity and compatibility:
It is not phytotoxic in the recommended crops following the doses specified in the label, it can be mixed with insecticides and fungicides of common use, in any case it is advisable to carry out previous tests to verify physical and biological compatibility of the mixture.
Re-entry time to the area of treatment:
12 hours. If the re-entry is necessary before term, do it by employing personal protective equipment.
